Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)

The Sackville Heights Elementary PTO is primarily a fundraising organization.  We host events and organize fundraisers throughout the year. All the funds we raise go back to the school, towards buses for school trips, technology upgrades such as iPads and Osmo, promoting physically active and healthy lifestyles, cultural or fine arts presentations as well as classroom supplies for teachers and much more!

Throughout the year we organize fun family events such as our Halloween Dance, Holiday Market and Bingo to raise funds.  These events fill the school with exciting activities for the children and their families. We also offer catalogue fundraisers and organize non-fundraising events just for fun such as the Holiday Gift Wrap, pancake breakfast and stuffy sleepover. The PTO aims to raise approximately $15,000 every year with ALL profits going back to our students and teachers!

The success of our events depends largely on volunteers. If you would like to be involved, contact us! The more volunteers, the better the events and the more money raised for our school. We have a lot of fun supporting our school! We meet on the first Thursday in every month and everyone is always welcome!

In addition to meetings, we also host the SHES PTO Facebook page, which is a great source of information about our events.  We regularly post our meeting dates and times as well as information about upcoming PTO events.
